Thank you to everyone for the encouraging words! I appreciate the input and look forward to hearing from you as I move forward.
Unless you live under a very large rock, at some point or another Super Bowl Sunday permeated your world today. Our family climbed into the car and headed to my brother-in-law's house for an afternoon of eating and an evening of game watching. Not much of a sports fan unless a Chicago team is playing, I became instantly fascinated in the score when I won $50 at half-time (another fifty would have been mine if Green Bay hadn't decided to run a two-point conversion instead of the field goal).
While money will not bring you happiness, I could have been convinced otherwise today. I yelled at the television, the refs, fellow party-goers, rooting for both teams, whoever would give me my numbers and my cash.
Oh, to be a greedy human. Is it selfish to want more? More prosperity, more health, more happiness? I've decided to strive for all of it, for me, for my family, for my friends, for everyone.
A new week lies ahead of us. Let's make it a great one, because we can. Take care ---
OK, Laura. I am glad to hear you had a nice time watching the game. But, it was Pittsburg not Green Bay who ran the two point conversion instead of kinking the extra point, not a field goal.
